One disappointed right-wing user going by the handle @WallStreetApes on X (formerly Twiter) decided to vent his frustration over the recent election results in the United Kingdom and France by sharing a recent clip of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán of Hungary at a press conference after meeting with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine in Kyiv earlier this month.
In the UK, the left-wing Labour Party won in a massive landslide, taking 411 seats against the Conservative Party’s 121. Brexit hero Nigel Farage’s new Reform UK party only got five seats, despite winning 14.3 per cent of the popular vote. Meanwhile in France, Marine Le Pen’s Rassemblement National only won the third most seats in the National Assembly in the second round of the special legislative election, despite winning the highest popular vote share by a decent margin, winning 37.06 per cent of the vote.
The tweet by the popular X account, boasting 438,000 followers, suggests that both the UK and France are in danger of being completely overrun by illegal migrants. This is why he attached a clip of Prime Minister Orbán talking about Soros’ plan on European migration, published by Project Syndicate, an international media organization funded by Soros’ Open Society Foundation.
The clip received 25,000 likes and 12,000 retweets in about 12 hours. In it, PM Orbán states:
‘I do remember how Mr George Soros published his plan in English in a Project Syndicate publication. It was done 26 September 2015. And he published a plan. He said, and I’m quoting, “Here are the six components of my comprehensive plan”. I’ll just quote two or three points of that.
First, he says…”[The] EU has to accept at least a million asylum seekers annually”. That was the first point.
Second, he said “Adequate financing is critical”. And he proposed to issue long-term Euro bonds for financing the migration crisis and the migrants’ social and welfare…when they arrive in the European Union’.
In the clip, PM Orbán also purports that the Soros plan’s stated goals to relocate migrants from Greece and Italy means that they are planning on relocating them to Hungary.
‘So don’t forget that what we are speaking about are not accidental stories, not a bulk of 10 years of accidental stories. It is a plan which is going on. It was written. It was published. It’s known. So we are fighting against an organized gang called Empire of George Soros,’ PM Orbán concluded his speech which garnered so much attention on social media.
PM Orbán has been at the forefront of fighting against mass illegal migration into the European Union since the European migration crisis in 2015.
The comments have also been overwhelmingly positive under the post, with one user writing: ‘Anyone with a brain knows that Soros and his “Open Society” are behind destroying sovereign countries by erasing their borders and flooding them with never ending millions of third world illegals’; another comment reads: ‘This is the correct take. Soros is an international terr*rist destroying the West,’ with the latter reply receiving over 1,200 likes on its own.
