István Dobozi
István Dobozi graduated from the University of Economics in Budapest. After teaching economics at universities in Hungary and the United States, he joined the World Bank as a Lead Energy Economist. He also represented the World Bank in the G7 Nuclear Safety Working Group, covering the closure and safety upgrades of high-risk Soviet-designed nuclear reactors in Ukraine and other former socialist countries. Since his retirement, he has provided consulting services for the World Bank. He is the author and editor of more than thirty books and of more than a hundred studies published in leading professional journals in the United States and Hungary. His commentaries have regularly appeared in the Financial Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Economist and Herald Tribune, in addition to major Hungarian newspapers and magazines. Mr Dobozi lives in Florida.
