Miklós Szánthó

Miklós Szánthó is a lawyer and political analyst. He graduated from Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, and is the head of the Center for Fundamental Rights (Alapjogokért Központ), a conservative legal research institute. Previously, Szánthó was a political analyst at a Budapest-based think tank and contributed to several newspapers and political blogs. He also joined domestic and international research projects and scholarships in Budapest, Washington, DC, and Brussels. His core interest is in constitutional law and political philosophy. Since autumn 2018, he has also been a member of the board of trustees and, since 2019, the chair of the board of the Central European Press and Media Foundation.
