The Claude Monet: The Immersive Experience exhibition in Budapest offers a unique opportunity to see the impressionist master’s works from a completely new perspective. The art show in the BOK Sports Hall uses modern digital technologies to bring to life some of the French impressionist painter Claude Monet’s most famous masterpieces, such as the Poppy Field and his series titled Haystacks.
Visitors can immerse themselves in the world of the paintings through 360-degree projections, where the perfect harmony of light and sound makes the experience truly magical. One of the highlights of the exhibition is the virtual reality (VR) tour of Monet’s paintings. This makes the experience not only visual and auditory but also interactive, moreover, visitors can even create their own paintings that come to life instantly on the exhibition walls.
Visitors can also learn about Monet’s life and work, including how he was influenced by nature and the changing seasons. The exhibition offers fascinating entertainment and learning opportunities for all ages, but lovers of modern technology will certainly not be disappointed either.
The exhibition opened on 17 October and will be on display in the BOK Sports Hall in Budapest every day until 2 March 2025. Special VIP tickets are also available, which include the VR experience and a poster worth HUF 5,000.
