Formed in 2005, Five Finger Death Punch’s line-up currently still features two original members: lead vocalist Ivan Moody and Hungarian-born rhythm guitarist and songwriter Zoltán Báthory. They are joined by guitarist lead guitarist Andy James, bassist Chris Kael, and drummer Charlie Engen.
The multi-platinum 5FDP concluded their American stadium tour with Metallica in November.
Between May and July of the following year, the band will showcase their latest album, AfterLife, and their well-known hits in 20 European countries, as announced by the organizer Live Nation on Tuesday.
The 2024 concert series coincides with Metallica’s European leg of the M72 tour, where 5FDP continues to appear as a supporting act in major stadiums worldwide. Ice Nine Kills will be opening for 5FDP’s standalone concerts during the summer tour.
Their second album from 2009, War Is the Answer, surpassed one million copies sold. The band became one of the most successful metal bands of the decade with the release of three records between 2013 and 2015: The Wrong Side of Heaven and the Righteous Side of Hell – Volume 1 and Volume 2, as well as Got Your Six.
Known for their energetic performances, Five Finger Death Punch has accumulated over 9 billion streams for their songs. Since 2007, they have placed 28 singles in the Top 10 of the gerne-specific Billboard Rock Play Chart; 15 of which topped the list, setting a record with ten consecutive chart-topping songs in the last five years. Two of their singles have also made it to the overall Billboard Hot 100 chart. They have put out nine studio albums, and have received numerous American and international awards as well.
The band’s co-founder and guitarist, Hungarian-born Zoltán Báthory, recently became a character in the popular Call of Duty video game series.
