The following is a press release kindly provided to us by the organizers of Football Forum Hungary 2025.
Global football industry leaders are once again turning their attention to Budapest: the Football Forum Hungary, one of Central Europe’s most important football business events, is back. This year’s forum will be held on 29 April at the Groupama Arena, with the aim of connecting East and West—not only geographically, but also in terms of business and mindset.
Connection, Collaboration, Innovation
Football Forum Hungary 2025 provides a platform where top clubs, investors, experts, lawyers, and data gurus come together to rethink the future of the football business. The event is expected to welcome over 600 participants from all over the world—from Europe to the Middle East.
The programme focuses on investment opportunities, the development of women’s football, sports’ legal challenges, digital innovation and data analysis, international player scouting, as well as diverse approaches to modern club management. Participants will gain first-hand insight into the impact of the European Union’s new regulations, the dynamics of the Middle Eastern market, and the latest trends in sports economics.
Hackathon, Kit Beauty Contest, and VIP Networking
A highlight of the forum will be an international football data analysis hackathon, supported by Cube and Transfermarkt. The competition aims to practically demonstrate the importance of data-driven decision-making in modern football.
The event will also feature a unique football kit beauty contest, where clubs can showcase their iconic jerseys, offering a one-of-a-kind visual experience for guests, and it will conclude with an exclusive After Party at BOHO, featuring live music and DJs.
Three-Day Programme in the Heart of Budapest
The forum will kick off on 28 April with a friendly small-sided football tournament at City Park, followed by a stylish Welcome Party. On the day of the forum, thematic sessions will take place, with a special focus on the Parents’ Section, where young talents will receive career guidance and advice.
On 30 April the TRIBE Hotel will host a closing, informal networking day where participants will have the opportunity to deepen existing collaborations and build new business relationships.
International Speakers, Global Attention
The 2024 conference attracted over 600 professionals and featured prominent names such as Hristo Stoichkov, Ioan Lupescu, and Dr Erkut Sogut. The 2025 event will not disappoint either, with speakers including Gareth Jennings, Pál Orosz, Cosmin Mihalescu, and Ergun Cenk.
