The legendary rock band Guns N’ Roses is set to return to Budapest on 15 July 2025 for a concert at the Puskás Aréna. This marks their fourth performance in Hungary, following their electrifying 2023 show that ended a 17-year hiatus from the country.

As part of their upcoming world tour, the American hard rock icons will travel across Europe and the Middle East between May and late July, performing at major stadiums and festivals. The Budapest show will feature support from Public Enemy, a collaboration anticipated to electrify fans.

The 2025 tour kicks off on 23 May and spans 24 dates, bringing the band to new destinations like Saudi Arabia, Georgia, and Luxembourg. Other stops include major cities across Europe, such as Sofia, Belgrade, Istanbul, Lisbon, Berlin, and London.

‘Guns N’ Roses first played in Hungary in 1992 at the height of their fame’

Guns N’ Roses, formed in 1985, has sold over 100 million records worldwide. Known for their dramatic stage presence, their concerts often include a mix of hits like Sweet Child o’ Mine, November Rain, and Welcome to the Jungle, alongside iconic covers such as Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door and Live and Let Die.

The band’s original lineup remained active until the mid-1990s, after which frontman Axl Rose continued under the Guns N’ Roses name. Guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan rejoined in 2016, reviving the classic chemistry fans adore. Accompanying them are Dizzy Reed and Melissa Reese on keyboards, Richard Fortus on guitar, and Frank Ferrer on drums.

Their early albums, including Appetite for Destruction and Use Your Illusion I-II, set benchmarks in rock history. The 1987 debut Appetite for Destruction remains the best-selling debut album in US history, while their Not in This Lifetime… Tour (2016–2019) became the fourth most successful concert series ever, with over five million tickets sold.

Guns N’ Roses first played in Hungary in 1992 at the height of their fame, performing at the Népstadion alongside Soundgarden and Faith No More. They returned in 2006 to the Papp László Budapest Sportaréna, though without Slash and McKagan. In 2023, their return to the Puskás Aréna marked a triumphant reunion with Hungarian fans.

For the upcoming show, classics like Nighttrain, Mr. Brownstone, and Paradise City are expected to echo once again through the Puskás Aréna. Fans eagerly await another historic night, celebrating the unparalleled legacy of Guns N’ Roses.
