The analysts of the Stasher tourism blog ranked 99 tourist attractions to find out which are the ones most worth visiting. They collected the latest available urban and national data, including Google ratings, TikTok popularity, as well as the quality of accommodation available, and the distance to the nearest international airport, also taking into account the safety of the host country.
According to the blog, taking all of these factors into account, the Hungarian Parliament has become the world’s best tourist attraction, scoring 7.34 points on a 10-point scale. The Parliament stands out with a 4.8 Google rating. The quality of places to stay in Budapest is also outstanding, with an average rating of 8.6 on Booking.com. Hungary is also safe, with a rating of 1.4 out of 5, indicating that it is a secure location.
Other top attractions include Disneyland Paris and the geothermal Blue Lagoon in Iceland. Among the worst destinations were the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles and Busch Gardens in Tampa Bay, Florida. Among the ten worst travel destinations are some located in Asia, including Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong. In contrast, the best sights are dominated by European locations.
