MCC Feszt 2025 is set to bring an exciting combination of intellectual debates and live music to Esztergom between 31 July and 2 August. The festival will host a range of speakers addressing topics like geopolitics, migration, and global challenges, while music lovers can enjoy performances from renowned Hungarian artists.
Among the prominent guests is Dominic Cummings, a key strategist behind the Brexit referendum and former chief advisor to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. Cummings, known for shaping the ‘Take Back Control’ slogan, played a crucial role in the UK’s political landscape, including the Conservative Party’s 2019 election victory.
Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a best-selling author and activist, will also be a featured speaker. Born in Somalia, Hirsi Ali is a well-known critic of Islam and has worked extensively on issues related to immigration and women’s rights. She co-produced the film Submission, which highlighted the treatment of women in Islam, and later moved to the US, where she founded the AHA Foundation to advocate for women’s rights.
Another key participant is Jim Robb, co-founder and vice president of NumbersUSA, an organization focused on reducing both legal and illegal immigration to the United States. Robb has been actively involved in US immigration policy reform since 1996 and aims to foster broader discussions on border security and migration policies.
Yonathan Jakubovicz, an expert on Israeli immigration policy, will also speak at the event. As a co-founder of the Israel Immigration Policy Center, he has played a major role in shaping Israel’s migration policies, particularly in relation to national security and refugee crises.
Beyond the intellectual discussions, MCC Feszt 2025 promises a diverse musical lineup. Festivalgoers can enjoy performances by popular Hungarian artists, including reggae-dancehall fusion band Irie Maffia, rap duo BSW, and rapper-songwriter T Danny.
The festival is expected to host over 300 speakers and offer more than 100 professional programmes alongside 40+ music performances. Attendees can also explore educational opportunities at the Edu Sétány, where talent development institutions and partner organizations will present their programmes.
For those looking to enhance their festival experience, the MCC Feszt Pass provides additional benefits, including free festival shuttle transport from Esztergom’s railway station, beach access, and discounts on food and drinks. Early bird passes are available until 20 April on the festival’s official website, which will also provide regular event updates.
As in previous years, parts of the festival—including the Edu Sétány, daytime professional discussions, and select evening concerts—will be free to attend, making MCC Feszt an accessible and engaging event for all.
