The statement quoted Zsófia Jakab, ministerial commissioner for the development and coordination of the creative industries and CEO of HFDA, who described the Budapest Select Presentation as a significant step forward in their Milan appearances, providing an opportunity for broader recognition of Hungarian fashion and creative industry products.

She added that, in line with the HFDA’s strategy, they arrived at the event with an expanded concept, presenting not only fashion brands but also other key sectors of the Hungarian creative industry, such as design and beauty.

‘Our goal remains to foster cross-industry collaborations and, through similar international appearances, to increase the global visibility of Hungarian brands, helping them enter foreign markets and boost their export capabilities,’ emphasized Zsófia Jakab.
