We can confidently say that the ‘folding city’ scene of Inception merits a place among the most memorable film scenes of the last decade, as it still catches the eye even after ten years have gone by.
In the work of Christopher Nolan, the writer, director and producer of the sci-fi, the young and talented architect Ariadne discovers that she has entered a dream world where she is able to influence the fundamental laws of physics, and then, leaping at the chance, bends the streets of Paris.
We can now see Budapest’s streets, buildings and transport systems presented in a similar fashion in a short film titled Parallel Budapest by Studio-x.
