The Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) has announced that applications are open for its Junior Training Program, an exclusive talent development initiative designed for students starting university this fall. The programme, which is free of charge, offers a unique combination of academic excellence, professional mentorship, and international exposure.

MCC highlighted that one of the key features of the programme is its weekly workshops led by internationally renowned experts, providing students with first-hand insights from top professionals. Participants will have the chance to engage in direct discussions with industry leaders, gaining valuable career guidance and mentorship.

According to MCC’s Director of Professional and Educational Affairs Milán Constantinovits, the goal is to go beyond theoretical knowledge and provide practical experiences that will help students build a strong foundation for their future careers. The programme emphasizes critical thinking, communication skills, and an open-minded approach to problem-solving.

The Junior Training Program is available in seven locations across the Carpathian Basin, including Budapest, Debrecen, Győr, Miskolc, Pécs, Szeged, and Cluj. MCC guarantees equal-quality education across all its campuses, ensuring that students receive the same high-level training regardless of location.

As part of the programme, participants can apply for international scholarships and study grants, with free accommodation provided. Students will also have the opportunity to study at prestigious partner universities, such as the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Modul), ESMT Berlin, Oxford, Cambridge, the University of Buckingham, and Quinnipiac University in the United States.

Additionally, MCC’s Brussels centre allows students to gain direct insights into European Union policymaking, further broadening their international perspective. The programme is designed to be flexible, making it compatible with university studies while offering a one-of-a-kind career opportunity for young talent.

The application process involves submitting documents online, followed by a written test (logic and vocabulary), a presentation on a given topic, and an oral interview. The deadline for applications to the Cluj training site is 25 June.
