Vannet Telekommunikációs Ltd is now an official Starlink reseller in Hungary. The company, registered in Pécs, Hungary is the first to offer Starlink’s satellite internet service to business customers in the country. As they said in their statement, the fast and short latency technology opens up new perspectives for users in places with poor internet coverage and as a secondary, backup service.
So business customers can now also access Starlink when contracted with a Hungarian company. In practice, this means that product support and customer service is also provided in Hungarian, Világgazdaság.hu reports.
The Starlink company was founded in 2015, while their service became active in 2019. With the addition of Hungary, the Starlink service is now available in 40 countries all over the world. That includes the war-torn Ukraine. In fact, Elon Musk’s company is of great strategic value for the Ukrainian military, providing them with reliable means of communication during wartime.
Starlink owner Elon Musk is a major donor and a very vocal supporter of President Trump’s re-election campaign. He also owns the social media company X (formerly Twitter).
