Out of the 38 bearings on the Kőröshegy Viaduct (each supporting 4,500 tonnes when in place), three had become significantly worn and needed to be replaced. The viaduct will be reopened to traffic in full width on Wednesday afternoon, five days earlier than planned, according to the Hungarian Concession Infrastructure Development Plc.
The new regulation does not apply to all electric scooters: scooters weighing more than 25 kilograms require insurance if their design speed exceeds 14 km/h, and all scooters require insurance if their design speed exceeds 25 km/h, regardless of weight. It is not yet clear how authorities will determine the design speed of a given vehicle on the spot.

Following the trial operation of the Bécsi Hill tunnel, part of one of the largest domestic road construction projects of the year, and after the traffic authorization, soon 11 expressways will reach the national border. In 2010, there were only three.
